Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Order Cancellation

  • Once an order is placed on CupidBox, it cannot be cancelled.
  • This is because order processing, verification, and receiver coordination begins immediately after payment.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are processed under specific conditions outlined below.

3. Gift Rejection by Receiver

If the receiver chooses to reject a gift, the user is eligible for a refund.

Refund Amount:
90% of the order value refunded | 10% retained as service charge

4. Receiver Not Reachable

If the receiver cannot be contacted despite reasonable attempts:

  • Timeline: Up to 30 days from order date
  • Outcome: Order is cancelled
90% refund issued to the user | 10% retained as service charge

5. Delivery Delays

Standard Delivery:

If a gift is not delivered within 30 days, the user is eligible for:

👉 100% refund

Same-Day / Express Delivery:

If delivery is not completed within 24 hours:

👉 100% refund

6. Custom Orders (External Products)

For orders placed via external links (e.g., Amazon, Myntra):

  • A ₹99 service fee is non-refundable
  • Additional service charges may apply

If Rejected / Failed:

90% of product value refunded | Service charges are not refunded

7. Returns & Refunds After Delivery

If a delivered product qualifies for return:

  • Request must be raised within 24 hours of delivery
  • Applicable only for:
    • Damaged items
    • Size issues (if supported by seller)
Refund Rules:
Refund is issued to the user (sender) | 90% of order value refunded | 10% retained as service charge

Return and exchange are subject to the original seller's policy.

8. Failed Delivery After Acceptance

If a receiver accepts the gift but delivery fails due to operational issues:

👉 100% refund will be issued

9. Refund Processing Time

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
  • Time may vary depending on the payment provider

10. Important Notes

  • Refunds are always issued to the original payment method
  • CupidBox acts as a facilitator; some delays may occur due to third-party providers
  • Each case is reviewed to ensure fair resolution

11. Misuse & Policy Violations

CupidBox reserves the right to:

  • Deny refunds in cases of misuse, fraud, or policy violations
  • Take action against abusive or suspicious behavior
